Provides guidance, support and instruction to Service Coordination staff . Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing workload. Must have management and related experience working with developmental and TBI disabilities. BA required, MA preferred. Must have clean and Valid NYS Drivers License.
Nursing Manager(Hauppauge)
Supervise all Adult Day Services Nursing activities. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and NYS Nursing License. Three to five years related experience and/or training. Prior supervisory experience necessary.
RESIDENTIAL
Recreation Therapist(Commack)
Responsible to structure, incorporate and monitor meaningful individualized group activities for people with developmental disabilities. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to six months related experience. Certified Recreation Therapist, preferred.
Direct Support Professionals (F/T & Per Diem) (Various locations)
Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in activities of daily living. High school degree or GED required. Must have a clean and valid drivers license.
Assisant Residence Managers(Lake Grove, Mt. Sinai/Stony Brook)
Assist Residence Manager to perform all duties related to oversight of assigned residential program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Supervises a total of up to 13 employees in the Residence. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to six months related experience and/or training. Supervisory experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Valid clean NYS Driver's License. SCIP-R, CPR, and AMAP certification preferred.
Occupational Therapist(P/T) (Various Locations)
Bachelors Degree required. Graduate of school accredited by A.O.T.A. Must have valid NYS Drivers License.
Applied Behavioral Specialist(F/T & P/T) (Various Locations)
Develop and maintain goal plans related specifically towards addressing behaviors of individuals served under to supervision of a licensed Psychologist. Responsible for evaluation and testing individuals served and training of staff members. Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. M.A. degree in Applied Psychology, from an accredited training program (including internship) e.g., school, clinical, counseling, and educational.

HEALTH CENTER
Director-Health Center(Central Islip)
Responsible for the overall strategic directions of the agency’s health services in keeping with the needs of the individuals served in the general community. Develops, implements and coordinates policies and procedures within division mission and agency guidelines, in accordance with Department of Health regulations regarding Article 28 Clinics and OMRDD regulations regarding Article 16 Clinics. Responsible for delegation of duties and supervision of all Health Center employees and contractors. Must be experienced in daily operation of medical, rehabilitation, dental and mental health services with knowledge of DOH and OMRDD. Masters in Health Administration or related field required. Minimum ten years of progressive management experience.
Physical Therapist – (Central Islip)
Treatment of patients through the use of physical agents, appropriate therapeutic exercise, stretching, joint mobilization or other therapeutic techniques. Bachelor’s Degree required and Graduate of school accredited by A.P.T.A. NY State License in Physical Therapy. Valid and clean NY State Drivers License required.
Treatment Coordinator – (Central Islip)
Applicant must be a licensed Social Worker who will perform intakes as well as preparation, review and maintenance of ISP’s as per regulations. Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software necessary. Must have a clean and valid NYS Drivers license and a reliable vehicle.

Vice President, Program Services(Marcus)
Responsible for the management and strategic planning of our Adult Day, Residential, Education and Child Care programs and services. Ensure the quality of our programs and services, regulatory compliance (OMRDD and SED), program synergy and program expansion. Must have Master’s degree in health care, human services, education or business; a minimum of 10 years experience in senior level management and strong administrative, programmatic and operational experience in a multi-disciplinary (OMRDD and SED) environment. Excellent leadership and organizational skills are necessary.
