Joseph began painting only a few years ago. He has cerebral palsy
and travels in a motorized wheelchair. He is able to communicate
with a new augmentative communication device. He is deeply involved
in the Self-Advocacy Program at UCP. He is also a member of the
Suffolk Seagull Athletic Team. Joe has been very generous with his
work. He has donated several pieces for fundraising efforts for
the agency and has gifted several pieces to dignitaries visiting
the agency.
Joe's
specialty seems to be watercolors. He likes landscapes that please the
eye with their softness. His work has also been reproduced for notecards
and the agency holiday card. Joseph attends the UCP Independent Living
Program.
